Een theatrale exploratie van het kleinste kamertje. De discussie over waar een trans persoon moet plassen komt steeds terug. Cis mensen zijn bang voor de plassende en poepende transgender medemens. Maar hoe plas je als je zo’n transgender medemens bent? Waar ga je heen en wat maak je mee in de woeste wereld van de openbare wc? Verhalen uit de pot gegrepen.
Zeikstuk wordt gespeeld door 23 trans personen tussen de 18 en 70 jaar.
Over WILD Producties
WILD Producties is een jong gezelschap in Utrecht die theatervoorstellingen maakt met trans en genderqueer kunstenaars, jongeren en ouderen. WILD stelt de ervaringen en kennis van de spelers centraal. Door middel van fysiek spel, muziek en zelfgeschreven teksten brengt WILD de verhalen van de spelers naar het theater.

Zeikstuk is a physical theatre piece featuring people and toilets. A theatrical exploration of the smallest room. The discussion about where a trans person should pee is a recurring one. Cis people are afraid of peeing and pooping trans people. But how do you pee if you’re trans? Where do you go and what do you experience in the wild world of public restrooms?
Zeikstuk is performed by 23 trans people between the ages of 18 and 70. The performance is in Dutch but includes English subtitles.
WILD Productions is a young company in Utrecht that creates theater performances with trans and genderqueer artists, young people, and seniors. WILD focuses on the experiences and knowledge of its performers. Through physical acting, music, and original lyrics, WILD brings the performers’ stories to the stage.
