Op 10 mei keert Ecca terug naar Utrecht met een sprankelend optreden vol vocale muziek die volledig ter plekke wordt geïmproviseerd.

Ecca is een internationaal vocaal improvisatietrio, bestaande uit Matt Goldstein, Jeffrey Noordijk en Soraya Perry. Samen verkennen zij gedurfde muzikale improvisaties, waarin ze texturen, ritmes, verhalen en melodieën met elkaar verweven en de stem omvormen tot een instrument vol eindeloze mogelijkheden. Elke voorstelling ontvouwt zich als een nieuw gesprek: spontaan, intiem en uniek.
Na een prachtige Europese tour in 2025 kijken ze nu vooruit naar 2026, een jaar vol nieuwe vocale avonturen, met een optreden op het Aarhus Vocal Festival als een van de hoogtepunten.

On May 10th, Ecca will return to Utrecht to bring an exciting performance full of vocal music that will be completely improvised on the spot.
Ecca is an international vocal improvisation trio featuring Matt Goldstein, Jeffrey Noordijk, and Soraya Perry. Together, they explore daring musical improvisations—layering textures, rhythms, stories, and melodies that transform the voice into an instrument of endless possibility. Each performance unfolds as a fresh conversation: spontaneous, intimate, and never to be repeated.
After having a wonderful European tour in 2025, they’re now looking ahead to 2026 in which they will encounter lots of new vocal adventures, with a performance at the Aarhus Vocal Festival as one of the highlights.
