Op deze Oekraïense nationale feestdag vieren we vrijheid voor iedereen en vieren we de band tussen de Oekraïense en de Nederlandse cultuur.
De Ukrainian International Ballet laat ons zien hoe harmonie uiteenvalt en weer tot eenheid komt, en vooraf zijn er workshops en muziek in de foyer. Iedereen is van harte welkom!
FUTURE door de Ukrainian International Ballet
Het stuk verkent het cyclische karakter van menselijke relaties, maatschappelijke veranderingen en persoonlijke transformaties. Centraal staan vrouwen die in harmonie samenleven en een gemeenschappelijk doel nastreven. Deze harmonie wordt echter verstoord. Duistere krachten drijven de vrouwen fysiek uit elkaar en beïnvloeden hun bewustzijn. Ze vergeten hun vroegere zusterschap. Er ontstaan conflicten en een strijd om persoonlijke ruimte, wat uiteindelijk leidt tot de vernietiging van de symbolen van hun eenheid.

On this Ukranian national day we celebrate freedom for everyone and celebrate the connection of Ukranian with Dutch culture.
The Ukrainian International Ballet will show us how harmony breaks and becomes unity again, and beforehand there will be workshops and music in the foyer. Everybody is welcome!
FUTURE by the Ukrainian International Ballet
The piece explores the cyclical nature of human relationships, societal changes, and personal transformations. At its core are women who live in harmony and share a common goal. However, this harmony disrupts. Dark forces divide the women physically and influence their consciousness. They forget their former sisterhood. Conflicts arise, along with a struggle for personal space, ultimately leading to the destruction of the symbols of their unity.
