De Abingdon School Big Band uit het Engelse Oxfordshire presenteert een avond vol jazz, swing, funk en blues.
Een week lang tourt de 25-koppige big band door Nederland met een programma vol energie en enthousiasme. Ze spelen muziek van onder andere Glenn Miller, Bart Howard en Sammy Nestico, en zullen worden vergezeld door kleinere jazz ensembles en zangers.
Het concert duurt ongeveer 75-90 minuten (geen pauze).

The Abingdon School Big Band from Oxfordshire, England, presents an evening of jazz, swing, funk and blues. As part of their week long tour to the Netherlands, they are delighted to be performing in Utrecht and will engage audiences with a programme of energy and enthusiasm.
Their 25 strong big band will perform a programme to include music by Glenn Miller, Bart Howard, Sammy Nestico and others, whilst smaller jazz ensembles and singers will join the band.
With no interval, the concert should run for approximately 75-90 minutes.
